Packing properly

Some general moving tips for taking care of your things involve the packing and moving them properly. For starters, don’t be lazy—make sure you protect all your stuff while you move. A TV or fine arts collection should be thoroughly wrapped in bubble wrap and placed on the moving truck where it won’t be damaged. Since packing peanuts and bubble wrap are rather cheap, feel free to use them liberally.

Moving thoughtfully

As we said before, your big and expensive things should be placed where they won’t be damaged. Packing and moving a more modern television can be tricky with limited space, but you should never lay the TV down flat in the moving truck.

There are many reasons for this, and it all has to do with the durability of the TV’s screen and internal components. They are built for standing upright. Think very carefully about where everything goes while you’re moving and take everything into account.
