On January 28th, My Las Vegas Connections hosted a fantastic Open House & Networking Mixer at Modern Concepts, a premier showroom specializing in flooring and kitchen remodeling. The event brought together over 60 Realtors and Home Pros, creating valuable connections while exploring the latest trends in home renovation.

The evening was co-hosted by Clara Napolitano, the talented designer from Modern Concepts, alongside Mike West, the founder of My Las Vegas Connections. Guests enjoyed great food catered by Jenni’s Kitchen while networking with fellow professionals and discovering cutting-edge remodeling products and designs.

To add to the excitement, we gave away over $500 in prizes to our attendees!

At the November 2024 My Las Vegas Connections Networking Breakfast, Rick Berube, Vice President of Sales at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties, captivated the audience with his insights on building better habits. He began by urging everyone to take full responsibility for their lives—owning not just where they are today but where they aspire to be. Rick emphasized that change isn’t about overnight perfection but about embracing the journey and focusing on progress. With a relatable story about his own challenges, he drove home the importance of keeping things simple, tackling one day at a time, and breaking goals into manageable steps. He encouraged attendees to write down their action plans, likening it to a personal contract that sets a foundation for accountability​.

Rick’s passion was evident as he spoke about the obstacles we all face, from self-doubt to naysayers, and the courage required to confront them head-on. He highlighted the power of asking for help and surrounding oneself with a supportive network, sharing how this approach had been pivotal in his own career. Mistakes, he said, are inevitable but should serve as stepping stones rather than roadblocks. Daily practice, affirmations, and visualization were some of the tools Rick credited for staying motivated, urging the audience to find what keeps their spirit strong. He closed with a powerful reminder: habits take time—patience is key—but each day is a fresh start to win. By shifting from being reactive to proactive, he challenged everyone to seize their potential and make every day count.

Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Awards

Our largest and most successful event of the year is held during the Berkshire Hathaway Home Services of Nevada awards ceremony.  Our vendors have the opportunity to promote their business to the 600 REALTORS in attendance.  Each vendor set up their table in the main ballroom where the award ceremony was held for the ultimate exposure to the sales associates.   We also had some of the largest and most successful home builders in the country here to promote their new homes in the Las Vegas Valley.
